I enjoy drawing clowns because they give me an opportunity to experiment with different styles, and it feels comfortable using bright colors if I deem necessary. I have also been fascinated with clowns ever since I found out how many adults harbor a fear of them.   Images are thumbnailed, click to enlarge "Sycko the Clown" 1998   "Buster" 2005 Another thing to love about clowns, from a "Horror" point of view, is people love to laugh. Many people, when they see a clown, are prepared to see something funny. They let their gaurd down. It may even take them a little while to realize, "there's nothing funny going on". In fact, they may even be in danger.  They aren't prepared for that.
